SALON NOTES / 03
Display Straight, Wave and Curl Styles Fairly
Customers can compare textures more easily when the display conditions are consistent. A useful display shows the style rather than hiding differences behind editing or heavy finishing products.
Start with the actual need
Use the same kind of stand and similar lighting for the samples. Arrange the front and sides without excessive pulling. For curly and waved wigs, show the relaxed shape so the customer sees the appearance they are actually choosing.
Check the reference
Label the material and the agreed length measurement method. Straight and curly wigs with the same listed length can look very different. Explain the distinction through the sample instead of suggesting that one universal photograph settles the comparison.

Make the next step clear
Keep the display sample cared for according to its instructions. Record any cut, colour or styling changes made in the salon. An altered display unit should not quietly replace the factory approval reference for future wholesale orders.
