Check a Salon Delivery Before It Reaches the Display
An incoming check connects the delivered units with the sample and order your salon approved. Define the check before the shipment arrives so the team knows what to record.
Start with the actual need
Match the style codes, quantities and pack labels to the order. Inspect the outer packing and note visible transit damage. Keep the batch or shipment reference available in case a question needs to be discussed with the factory or carrier.
Check the reference
Compare the agreed colour, cut, cap and material information with the approved sample. Use consistent light and handling. If shedding or odour checks were specified, follow the agreed method instead of inventing a new pass or fail rule at delivery.
Make the next step clear
Document differences with focused photographs and a concise description. Keep affected units identifiable while the issue is reviewed. Do not quietly substitute a different sample reference; a clear record makes it easier for both teams to resolve the actual discrepancy.
