Plan Salon Stock Without Promising Every Variant
A clear stock plan distinguishes the styles held locally from those that need a new order. That distinction helps the salon communicate realistic choices to its customers.
Start with the actual need
Decide which style and colour combinations justify a core stock position. Keep a simple record of the quantities available and the sample references used for special orders. Avoid expanding every style into every length before reviewing actual demand.
Check the reference
Confirm factory availability before relying on a dispatch target. Stock dispatch and arrival at the salon are separate events. Payment confirmation, carrier collection and destination clearance can all affect the schedule discussed with a customer.
Make the next step clear
Write down the reorder trigger and who checks it. Review customer requests regularly to identify gaps in the assortment. A small range that can be supported and replenished clearly is often easier to manage than an oversized catalogue of uncertain availability.
