SALON NOTES / 05
Assess Bob and Pixie Cuts from Every Angle
Short wigs put the outline in focus. A bob or pixie sample should be reviewed from the sides and back as carefully as it is reviewed from the front.
Start with the actual need
Place the sample on the agreed fitting reference and take consistent photographs. Inspect the fringe, ear area and nape. Small differences can change the overall balance of a cropped style, so record measurements that matter to the intended cut.
Check the reference
Distinguish the supplied factory cut from any optional salon finishing. If your team plans to personalise the cut after purchase, explain that service separately. Do not use a heavily recut display sample as the only reference for the next wholesale order.

Make the next step clear
Consider the packing method as part of the review. A short shape still needs protection in transit. Agree how the finished unit should be supported and how the salon will restore its presentation after opening the pack.
